We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is part of the Treaty lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. CORPSERV-2021-0034 dated November 15, 2021 regarding the Temporary Borrowing of Funds to Meet 2022 Current Operating Expenditures be received;

AND FURTHER THAT a by-law be passed, authorizing the temporary borrowing of up to $10,000,000 to meet the current operating expenditures of the municipality for the year 2022;

AND FURTHER THAT any costs of borrowing will be charged to the 2022 operating fund and reported to Council in the annual report on investment and cash management.

Recommendation:


That Report No. CORPSERV-2021-0035 dated November 15, 2021 regarding 2022 Single Source Awards be received;

AND FURTHER THAT the 2022 Single Source requests be awarded as per the list of suppliers attached as Schedule A;

AND FURTHER THAT the Senior Manager of Purchasing and Risk Management be authorized to issue purchase orders in the amount indicated in the list of suppliers as outlined in Schedule A, plus HST.

Recommendation: 


THAT Report No. CORPSERV-2021-0038, dated September 30, 2021, regarding End-User Computing Equipment and Services Contract with Dell be received;

AND FURTHER THAT Dell Canada, 155 Gordon Baker Rd., Suite 501, North York, Ontario be awarded the Computing Equipment and Services Contract in the upset amount of $500,000 plus applicable taxes for four (4) years;

AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the End-User Computing Equipment and Services Contract for $500,000 plus applicable taxes total for four (4) years.

Recommendation: 


THAT Report No. CORPSERV-2021-0040, dated October 15, 2021, regarding Award of Armoured Courier Services be received;

AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the award of Request for Proposal P-094-21 for Armoured Courier Services to Brink’s Canada Limited, 2233 Argentia Road, Suite 400, Mississauga ON L5N 2X7 in the annual upset amount of $20,586.00 plus applicable taxes for a one (1) year period with four (4) one (1) year options to renew commencing January 1, 2022 subject to satisfactory performance and price negotiations.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. ADMIN-2021-0053 dated October 18, 2021 regarding Procedure By-law Amendment – Inaugural Meeting be received;

AND FURTHER THAT Council approve the amendment to the current Procedure By-law to change the date of the Inaugural Meeting to the third Monday of November.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. TPW-2021-0034, dated October 8, 2021, regarding the Pedestrian Crossover Installations be received;

AND FURTHER THAT the implementation of future locations of Pedestrian Crossovers Level 2 be based on the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 15 Requirements.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. TPW-2021-0036, dated October 26, 2021, regarding the All-Way Stop Control - Operational Reviews be received;

AND FURTHER THAT an All-way stop control be installed at the intersection of Maria Street and Poplar Avenue/Crescent Street.

AND FURTHER THAT the Uniform Traffic Control By-law No.84-01 be amended.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. TPW-2021-0039 dated October 26, 2021, regarding the Transfer Payment Agreement - Municipal Modernization Program be received;

AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to enter into a Transfer Payment Agreement with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for the Municipal Modernization Program;

AND FURTHER THAT a By-law be enacted authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a Transfer Payment Agreement for the Municipal Modernization Program.

Purpose:


The purpose of Memorandum No. ADMIN-2021-0017 dated November 15, 2021 is to provide an update on the Town’s initiatives to preserve, protect, and enhance its tree canopy.
