MEMORANDUM NO. RP-2024-003

 

RECREATION AND PARKS MEMORANDUM NO. RP-2024-003 dated January 3, 2024 regarding a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board. (Facilities)

We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is part of the Treaty lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Recommendation:


THAT Report No. BEC-2024-002, dated January 10, 2024, regarding the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Attraction – Program and Results Update, be received for information.

THAT Report No. PD-2024-003 dated January 9, 2024, regarding the Georgetown GO Station Area/Mill Street Corridor Secondary Plan Review – Project Update be received for information.

Purpose:


The purpose of Memorandum No. ADMIN-2024-001 dated January 8, 2024 is to meet the Town of Halton Hills legislative requirements under the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and the IASR (Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation).

The purpose of Memorandum No. RP-2024-001 dated January 4, 2024 is to provide Members of Council with information on the 50th Anniversary Legacy Grant Program and corresponding grant allocations.

Purpose:


The purpose of Memorandum No. RP-2024-002 dated January 4, 2024 is to provide members of Council with information on the status of the Community Partnership Program and to outline next steps in the review of the program.

A By-law to amend By-law No. 2023-0096 for the appointment of Municipal Law Enforcement Officers for the purpose of enforcing the Town’s Parking By-laws and other By-laws as designated by the Clerk & Director of Legislative Services.

A By-law to adopt Amendment No. 53 to the Official Plan of the Town of Halton Hills, 59 & 61 King Street (Georgetown) Lot 1 and Part of Lot 2, Parcel 5, Plan 54 Town of Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton (File: D09OPA20.003).

A By-law to Amend Zoning By-law 2010-0050, as amended Lot 1 and Part of Lot 2, Parcel 5, Plan 54 Town of Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton, municipally known as 59 & 61 King Street (Georgetown).

A By-law to authorize the imposition of special charges under the Retrofit Halton Hills Pilot Program in accordance with Ontario Regulation 586/06 on 11881 5 Side Road (the “Benefitting Property”).

A By-law to adopt the proceedings of the Council Meeting held on the 22nd day of January, 2024 and to authorize its execution.
