TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS REPORT NO. TPW-2024-024 dated November 4, 2024 regarding 32 Side Road Drainage Petition – Request to Extend the One-year Time Period for the Final Engineering Report Filing.

Purpose:


The purpose of Memorandum No. ADMIN-2025-001 dated January 7, 2025 is to provide Council with the education and enforcement plan for the new Fireworks By-law No. 2025-0006, which bans the sale and discharge of consumer fireworks in Halton Hills.

A By-law to designate the Beaumont Duplex, located at 526 Main Street, Glen Williams, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-law to designate Hawkins House, located at 7 Prince Street, Glen Williams, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-law to designate the Beamish-Appelbe House, located at 5 King Street, Georgetown, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-law to designate the McColl House, located at 4 Queen Street, Georgetown, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-law to designate the Ramsden House, located at 8 Queen Street, Georgetown, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-law to regulate and prohibit the sale and discharge of consumer fireworks and to provide for the issuance of permits for the discharge of display fireworks and to repeal By-law No. 2023-0032.

A By-law to adopt the proceedings of the Council Meeting held on the 20th day of January, 2025 and to authorize its execution.
