Recommendation:

THAT Report No. PD-2021-0047 dated July 21, 2021, regarding the Halton Region 2020 State of Housing Report be received for information

Recommendation:

THAT Report No. PD-2021-0052, dated September 2, 2021, with respect to “Recommendation Report for Removal of Holding (H24) Provision for 2 Humberstone Drive (Georgetown)”, be received;

AND FURTHER THAT the request to remove the Holding (H24) Provision from Zoning By-law 2010-0050, as amended, for the lands described as Part of Lot 18, Concession 8 Esquesing, Town of Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton, 2 Humberstone Drive (Georgetown), be approved;

AND FURTHER THAT the necessary By-law be enacted to authorize the removal of the Holding (H24) Provision, as generally shown in SCHEDULE 3 of this report.

Recommendation:

THAT Report No. RP-2021-0022 regarding the Community Building Fund Application – Acton Arena and Community Centre dated September 6, 2021, be received for information;

AND FURTHER THAT Council support the submission of select Acton Arena and Community Centre capital projects as outlined in Report No. RP-2021-0022 to the Community Building Fund for consideration;

AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute all documentation related to the Community Building Fund application per Report No. RP-2021-0022.  

Purpose:

The purpose of Memorandum No. ADMIN-2021-0016 dated September 20, 2021 is to provide information regarding the Newcomer Resources Program ‘Welcome to the Town of Halton Hills’ and details of the joint program with the Halton Hills Public Library, the resources offered and the promotion put in place to support the September launch.

Purpose:

The purpose of Memorandum No. TPW-2021-0032 dated September 20, 2021 is to inform the Mayor and Members of Council of Staff’s intent to establish advisory committees for input to the Town of Halton Hills Stormwater Master Plan.
