In our efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect all individuals, public attendance at Council Meetings will not be permitted at this time.  Members of the public may request to delegate to this virtual meeting by completing the online delegation form,  (Application to appear before Council) by no later than 4:30 p.m. one business day prior to the meeting.  All requests to delegate must contain a copy of the delegate's intended remarks which will be circulated to all Members of Council in advance as a backup should technology issues occur.  Clerks staff will contact you with the details on how to participate electronically.  If you do not wish to delegate, but would like to submit feedback, please email your comments to clerks@haltonhills.ca.  Your comments will be circulated to Council Members in advance of the meeting and will form part of the public record.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REPORT NO. PD-2022-0047 dated September 22, 2022 regarding advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose and litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the local municipality or board. (Vision Georgetown)

We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is part of the Treaty lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Purpose:


The purpose of MEMORANDUM NO. ADMIN-2022-0044 dated September 6, 2022 regarding Advisory Committee Review is to advise Council that staff are undertaking a review of the all committees to confirm their relevance and bring a more consistent approach to their composition and procedures.

Purpose:


The purpose of MEMORANDUM NO. BEC-2022-0001 dated September 26, 2022 is to provide Council an update regarding Retrofit Halton Hills Pilot Program Update.

Purpose:


The purpose of MEMORANDUM NO. BEC-2022-0002 dated September 12, 2022 is to provide Council an update regarding Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) - Trade Mission Update.

Purpose:


The purpose of MEMORANDUM NO. TPW-2022-0002 dated September 14, 2022 is to provide Council an update regarding Lymantria Dispar Dispar Moth Update.

Purpose:


The purpose of MEMORANDUM NO. ADMIN-2022-0018 dated September 21, 2022 is to advise Council that the temporary exemption to the Business Licensing By-law which allowed Seasonal Trailer parks to remain open the past two winters will not be an option for them this year.

OFFICE OF THE CAO REPORT NO. ADMIN-2022-0038 dated September 26, 2022 regarding Council's Strategic Plan Status Update.

PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT REPORT NO. PD-2022-0046 dated September 15, 2022 regarding Halton Region release of 300 SDE for the Georgetown allocation pools and 300 SDE for the Acton allocation pools.

Motion(s) to be brought forward to the next meeting of Council.

A By-Law to amend By-law No. 93-175 being a By-law that establishes a Board of Management for the Acton Central Business Improvement Area – Board of Management Membership.

A By-Law to designate the McCannah-Biehn House, located at 26 Queen Street, Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-Law to designate the McNiven-Elliott House, located at 76 Bower Street, Halton Hills, Regional Municipality of Halton, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

A By-Law to adopt the proceedings of the Council Meeting held on the 26th day of September, 2022 and to authorize its execution.
